Donald Trump was branded a 'lunatic' by viewers who tuned in to his interview with Lara Trump.
On Saturday, May 30, the 79-year-old President of the United States appeared on My View with Lara Trump on Fox News to discuss everything from the ongoing war in Iran to his renovations of The White House ballroom with his daughter-in-law, who is married to Trump's son Eric. Viewers flooded social media with reactions to Trump's 'ranting and raving.'
During the bizarre interview, during which Trump went on multiple tangents, the president claimed that "male model" Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart said "I love you" to him.

Trump went on multiple long-winded tangents throughout the conversation, which drew backlash from viewers who criticized Lara's interviewing skills as the president droned on about several topics.
One Fox News viewer shared a clip from the interview on X with the caption, “Trump is ranting and raving like a lunatic on Fox News for minutes on end while Lara Trump sits there and nods," as another likened the interview to "a wind-up car that lost its steering wheel."

The president’s interview with his daughter-in-law comes a year after he first appeared on her Fox News program, My View with Lara Trump, which debuted on the network in February 2025, shortly after Trump took office for the second time.
Lara has been linked to the Trump family since 2008, when she began dating Eric. The couple married at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in 2014 and share two children.
