The country singer was performing his song “Sand in My Boots” when he experienced technical difficulties
Wallen was previously arrested in April 2024 for throwing a chair off the roof of a bar in Nashville
Morgan Wallen flipped a piano onstage after he experienced a technical issue mid-concert.
The 33-year-old country singer was performing as part of his Still the Problem tour, in support of his latest album, I'm the Problem, at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on May 29 when the incident occurred.
Videos of the piano-flipping that were shared on social media show Wallen performing his song “Sand in My Boots" before running into technical difficulties.
He can be seen in one clip pushing over and seemingly breaking the piano, then walking away from the instrument. Another video shows Wallen walking back towards the piano, as the audience gasps and cheers in response.

Rolling Stone reported that Wallen was unable to hear the piano while he played, and he finished the song acapella.
Wallen has not yet commented on the situation. PEOPLE reached out to representatives for the singer on Sunday, May 31, but did not immediately hear back.
The “Lies Lies Lies” musician kicked off his tour on April 10 in Minneapolis. It features stops in major cities, including Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Chicago.

The stadium concert series is set to conclude in Philadelphia on Aug. 1.
Opening acts at various stops include Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley, Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry, Hudson Westbrook, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Blake Whiten.

Wallen's onstage throwing of the piano this week took place after he was arrested in Nashville for hurling a chair off the roof of a bar in Nashville in April 2024.
That December, he was sentenced to seven days at a DUI education center, as well as two years' probation.
Wallen was also ordered to pay a $350 fine and court fees.
