Natalie Portman is counting down the days until she welcomes her little one.
On Wednesday, July 29, the Thor: Love and Thunder actress, 45, shared a new photo on Instagram, showing her bare baby bump. In the snap, Portman, who’s expecting her third baby, her first with partner Tanguy Destable, could be seen standing in front of an apartment balcony in an oversized blue button-down, caressing her stomach.
“Counting the days until we meet you 🩷,” she wrote. “Thank you @shelbyduncan for your talent 📸.”
Several of Portman’s famous friends expressed their love for the star’s photo in the comments.
“Gee whiz,” replied Macaulay Culkin, while Jenner Garner dropped a string of heart emojis.

The Fountain of Youth star first revealed her pregnancy news back in April during an exclusive interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
At the time, Portman, who’s already mom to son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9, with her ex-husband, director-choreographer Benjamin Millepied, shared her excitement about welcoming a new addition.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she said. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”
During the interview, Portman opened up about her keen awareness of the challenges and heartbreak of fertility journeys. Portman, who’s the daughter of a fertility doctor, said that she’s “very aware” of the hardships and “very grateful” to be expanding her family with her partner.
“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” she said. “I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing.”

She added, “And so I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”
The Black Swan actress also shared that she’s feeling a deeper sense of gratitude with her third pregnancy. Portman said her pregnancy is more of a “calm” experience this time, adding she’s cherishing every moment.
“There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp,” she said. “And there’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”

The pregnant actress told the outlet that she’s enjoying going through her pregnancy in Paris with her kids.
“I have more energy than I thought I might,” she told the outlet about her pregnancy so far, noting that this pregnancy feels similar to her previous ones.
Portman shared that she’s been swimming and doing gyrotonics to “keep strong” and spending lots of time with her kids, “which is always the best.”
The Gallerist star recently finished a few projects and has been focusing on her family. She said she’s especially happy to be navigating the pregnancy in Paris, and that there’s been “beautiful spring weather” for her to enjoy.“There’s been beautiful spring weather,” she said, adding, “so it’s been pretty amazing to just walk in the incredible parks here and go see art. Just the usual things you do when you’re not working!”
She jokingly continued, “In France, they consider full-term to be 41 weeks rather than 40, so I guess I get an extra week to be pregnant this time around.”
